Ketosis in dairy cattle is a metabolic disease that occurs a few days to a few weeks after calving. In this, there is deficiency of glucose in the blood and excess of ketone bodies and excretion of ketone bodies in urine, as a result of which body weight decreases and milk production also decreases.
